Music Video - Candie Payne - I Wish I could have loved you more

I have uploaded the preliminary music video to youtube on a close friends account so we can get some audience feedback from a wider range of people not just people we know. I have uploaded it to youtube as our target audience is the core 15-24 age group who are consistant users of websites such as this. Here is the link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuDscHEUyYw

Unfortunately if you aren't a member of Bebo you can't access the comments on the music video. I have therefore created an account mainly for the use of Mike, the media teacher and any moderators who wish to access these comments.

Facebook is also a very popular site for people ranging from teenagers to people in their middle ages. I have e-mailed a few contacts on facebook with the link to the music video and asked them what they thought. Some of the people couldn't comment through Blogger and the Google accounts so they e-mailed their views back to me on facebook;

'The front is well done due to the silhouette effects fading out down a colour scale.I think the colours also go well together.I like the picture and effect on the back however the writing of the playlist was a little difficult to read ( not sure if it would be easier to read if it was bigger)'

Shooting Schedule for the CD cover

The images for the CD cover will ideally be taken when we are filming in the theatre, then we can have a spot light effect on her. Also Kelly will already be dressed for playing the female singer in the theatre and this is how she will be dressed for the CD cover also.

Planning for CD cover

Image: is of the female singer in a white prom dress, red lipstick on, curled hair, seductive look. We will take the picture in colour with the digital camera and then in coral we will try to see if we can have half of the picture in colour and half of the picture in black and white, and imbetween the two there will be a fading effect to show the transition between them. This will also link the CD cover to the music video and each will compliment the other.

Title and Name: Whichever side the black and white half of the picture is, the title of the song and the female singers name will be in red at the bottom of the image.

Background: Black background, normal coloured spotlight on Kelly.

Day one of filming:

Location: Rach's bedroom
Props: A ring, Roses/Rose petals, matches, photo of the couple, black hat, Red candle.

Location: Ollie Park

Location: The theatre in Countesthorpe Community College.
Props: White prom dress, Red lipstick, Red shoes, White rug.

Planning for the music video

Locations:
The Theatre in Countesthorpe Community College; need to book it and find out if it's being used - we also need to see if Paul Mills is free to see if he will control the lights for us.
Park in Countesthorpe - Leysland Avenue.

Props and things we need:
Prom dress
Red shoes.
Red lipstick.
Red nail vanish.
Red Candle and matches to light it.
Fluffy rug.
A ring which looks like a wedding ring.
Roses/Rose petals to put on the bed.
Black hat.

Storyboards;

Risk Assessments

Tripping over the tripod can be a hazard so we will have to be careful when walking near it.

If the female singer (played by kelly) is going to wear high heels they will have to be careful walking in them on elaminate wood flooring as they may slip, fall, and injuries may follow.

When filming in the theatre we need to make sure the female singer is in a position where she won't be blinded by the spotlight.

When filming the burning candle and the burning picture we will have to be careful about the fumes it will let off so if there are windows near by we could open them, and not put our heads over the flame. Also we need to be careful in trying not to knock it over, as it could set fire to things around it.

During the shot where the female runs into the males arms, we will have to make sure that the male won't drop the female as this could cause injuries.

Finally when filming in the outdoors we need to be aware of our surroundings and watch out for any dogs which may run at us or anything/anyone else who may disrupt filming.
